“Studies show that face to face contact and interaction are the best way to enhance cross-cultural competence.” Dr. Zhu Hua, previously of Newcastle University.

Unfortunately face to face contact involves international travel which can be expensive. In order to widen the range of young people who can access CISV programmes we raise funds to subsidise the activities.

We have just completed a successful bag pack which raised over £850. We have two more bag packs coming up in 2015, please support these events.

We have a range of merchandise which is indispensable if your child is going away with CISV for wearing and swapping. It also supports Branch funds. Have a look here.

100 club

We run a 100 Club, which has much better odds of winning than the National Lottery! Buy a number for £2.00 per month (or two for £3.50, or three for £4.50) and be entered in the monthly draw. There are two prizes drawn every month. To join please download and complete BOTH these forms: 100-club-info & 100 Club subscription

easy fundraising

You can also support us when you shop online. Register with, choose “CISV Leeds” as your cause and we will receive a donation every time you buy online from one of the thousands of retailers that work with the scheme. For example, John Lewis will donate 2.5%, Amazon 2.5%, The Body Shop 10%, some insurance retailers will even donate up to £30 simply for taking out a policy with them!
