CISV is an international voluntary organisation that has been bringing young people together to form global friendships for sixty years.

On this site you can find information for young people wanting to get involved in the Junior Branch section. And information for parents and adults in the Grown Ups section.

CISV runs structured programmes for 11-25 year olds using experiential learning to break down boundaries between children from 60 different countries around the world. The CISV experience helps children become confident, non-judgmental, self-reliant young people with friendships that stretch around the globe.

  1. To whom it may concern,
I was wondering if cisv kept any details of the host families that kids stayed with all over the world. I know this is a long shot but my brother stayed with a family in Japan back in 1993 and would like to email them or contact them somehow. His leader who took him was named Colin Rimmington. If you can make any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

  2. Hi, I do not know where to look but I try to find back members of the Leeds delegation to a village in Hexham in 1975. Leader was Helen, and there were Katie, Lucy, Mahesh and Michael. They are 49 or 50 nowadays. Perhaps you might know them e.g. as parent of active CISV-ers? Can you help me? You can find me on facebook under my name Cornelie Hemmes or via my email. I come from Holland.
    Thanks and bye, Cornelie
